At Simple Bath + Kitchen, we often encounter hall, kids', or guest bathrooms in need of a refresh. The Hilliard Haven project was no exception. The space was characterized by darkness, outdated fixtures, and a disconnect from the light and airy aesthetic present elsewhere in the home. Our mission was clear: to brighten, update, and harmonize this bathroom with the rest of the house, transforming it into a serene spa-like retreat.

Complementing the crisp lines of the glass shower, we introduced a dark wood vanity that became the centerpiece of the bathroom. Many old kitchens look cramped and dreary, the last things you want to feel starting or ending your day. This house in Upper Arlington wasn’t looking for a simple upgrade. Their kitchen needed to be torn down to the roots and brought back up as a modern, inviting space to gather.

Dublin Elegance

This Dublin family has a hectic lifestyle and needed a place to escape. We wanted it to be a retreat, but we also wanted it to have an air of elegance. We removed an unused tub and created a makeup vanity area. This new area made it possible for the homeowner to have a specific place to do her hair, put on makeup and just have a little time to unwind. The details were an important part of the overall design. The lighting in both spaces created a bit of glamour and the unique mirrors helped to finish the look. We also did a complete update to the kids bathroom. We needed storage solutions that would allow all the needed items for 3 kids. A new tub and shower was installed so that more quality time could be spent with the kids instead of cleaning up after them.
