We’re Jenni and Bill, the founders of Simple Bath + Kitchen. As a leading remodeling and renovation company, our journey starts right here in Columbus, Ohio. We both grew up in Upper Arlington just a year apart, though we ran in different circles back then. After college, we reconnected and eventually moved to Chicago to grow our careers and start a family.
It didn’t take long to realize that corporate life wasn’t for us. We craved more freedom, more purpose, and the ability to make decisions that truly mattered. We came home to Columbus, and after searching for the right opportunity, we bought the company that became Simple Bath + Kitchen in 2016. Everything clicked, and we joined a team of people who genuinely care about their work, each other, and the clients they serve.
Bill’s passion for home improvement started early. Growing up, his dad was always tinkering with tools, and together they tackled all kinds of renovation projects around the house. That shared time together laid the groundwork for a lifelong love of craftsmanship. Bill’s interest in architecture was piqued from an early age by his mother, who was a professor and librarian at OSU’s Knowlton School of Architecture. They continue to inspire the work we do at Simple Bath + Kitchen today.
We’re proud that Simple Bath + Kitchen is independently owned. We’re not part of a franchise, so we’re free to make decisions that truly serve Columbus homeowners.
